Orange County Board of Supervisors minutes (1889-1965)


In addition to the original Board minutes, the Archives also holds the minutes of several other government bodies made up of the members of the Board of Supervisors. These include the Flood Control District (1927-65), the Board of Equalization (1890-1967), the Air Pollution Control Board (1950-62), and the Boundary Commission (1949-65) – the ancestor of the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO). The Archives also holds a collection of associated documents (dating largely from 1890-1939) concerning items brought before the Board of Supervisors. This collection includes a great deal of material on roads, school districts, city incorporations and annexations, and other topics.
