Intern Position Description
Position Title: Web Design/Development Support Intern (unpaid internship)

Name and Location of Agency/Department Requesting Intern:
County Executive Office IT Web Design-Development
10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701

Functions of Agency/Department:
The County Executive Office- IT Web Design-Development Team assists Departments/Agencies with implementing best practices in web design and usability thus increasing customer usage and satisfaction.

Intern Duties/Responsibilities:
We are looking for an HTML developer with experience with JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS and Photoshop. Candidate would be responsible to take PSD (Photo Shop) Comps from creative department, and code them into HTML pages.

Educational Requirements:
Experience in HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Web Design, Java Script and CSS.

Additional Skills are a Plus!
Experience in Active Server Pages (ASP) and VBScript.

Time Commitment:
Minimum 12 15 hours per week for 3 or more months. Hours can be scheduled in 3- to 8-hour blocks of time during regular business hours (Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.). Summer internships are available. Applicants willing to work additional hours typically gain a more in-depth experience.
