Volunteer Opportunities

Orange County’s Public Health Clinics  Are Looking For Volunteers!

You will be volunteering in the waiting room of the Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Walk-In Immunization Clinic.  MCAH promotes health and prevents disease within the community. 

Duties Include:

  • Answer questions

  • Direct visitors to appropriate clinics

  • Distribute paperwork to visitors for completion

  • Screen families for potential eligibility in the Child Health & Disability Prevention (CHDP) Gateway Program

Qualifications:

  • BILINGUAL (English/Spanish)

  • Minimum age 18

  • Can commit to 30 hours a month, working 2- 4 hour shifts, twice a week  (The time frames hours can be scheduled are dependent upon each clinic but range Mon- Fri, 8am- 7:30pm)

**All Volunteers will receive effective training and an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge in the public health system, all while helping their community.

**Professional Attire Required 

Clinics are located in Santa Ana, Costa Mesa and Buena Park.
