Make a Difference in Your Community...
Become a Keeping Kids Safe Volunteer!
 
Volunteers are needed to: Children
  • Provide supervised visitation services at one of three non-profit agencies located in Fullerton, Garden Grove, San Juan Capistrano, and Santa Ana (21 and older)
  • Conduct client intakes at Family Court, Lamoreaux Justice Center (21 and older)
  • Provide administrative support at the supervised visitation centers
  • Conduct screenings and provide safety planning at Family Court
  • Assist with community outreach
  • Create/teach an educational component for parents
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum age of 18 or older (age 21 + for supervised visitation services)
  • Certified training for supervised visitation services will be provided (age 21 +)
  • Law enforcement background/record check will be conducted
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and Vietnamese a plus (Optional)
  • Commit to 2 or more hours per week; days, evenings, or weekends
