Volunteer at the Orange County Animal Care Center!
If you are searching for a rewarding
experience and love working with and for animals,
we invite you to become part of the Center's volunteer
team. Volunteer opportunities are available seven
days a week. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
The following opportunities are
Team Leaders - For the various volunteer
Handlers - Hold adoptable pets for media and marketing
Clerical Support - Assemble educational and fundraising
Public Relations/ Public Education - Assist with ongoing
projects and special events
Greeters - Friendly faces to guide, direct, and assist
Special Skills - Graphic Artist, Photographer, Computer
Special Events - Assist with events such as "Adopt-A-Pet"
R.O.P. Program - Work with Center staff learning general
care and observing veterinarian procedures
Animal Care Center volunteers
are committed, caring individuals who want to make
a difference in the lives of animals. Their valuable
support and service is appreciated by the animals
they assist as well as Center staff and visitors.
The Orange County Animal Care Center is located
at 561 City Drive South in the city of Orange.
