How to Receive Your Election Information in Chinese, Korean, Spanish or Vietnamese The Federal voting rights act, language assistance amendments of 1992, require that the Registrar of Voters provide voting materials in Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese in addition to English. If you are just reregistering to vote, you can indicate your language preference in box 11 of the Voter Registration Affidavit.
