Veterans' Exemption

A Disabled
Veterans' Exemption can exclude from taxation up to $166,944 of
a qualified veterans' home, or the home of the unmarried surviving
spouse of a qualified veteran. To qualify for this exemption, a
veteran must have become blind in both eyes, or lost the use of
two or more limbs, or become totally disabled due to injury or disease
incurred during military service.

applications are due February 15, or on or before the 30th day following the date of
Notice of Supplemental Assessment, whichever comes first
|

- Late applications
filed up to December 10 may receive a percentage of the allowable
exemption amount
