The Orange County Registrar of Voters' office is committed to continuous improvement of the services we provide to the public.

Early voting will be offered in 11 locations throughout Orange County for the November General Election.

» How do I vote early?

Early Voting allows any registered voter in Orange County the opportunity to vote in a polling place setting prior to Election Day and is especially convenient for voters that believe they will not be able to vote at their polling place on Election Day.

When you arrive at the Early Voting site the poll worker will ask you for your name so they can find your registration record. They will then ask you to confirm your address. Once you are confirmed you will be asked to sign the voting roster and write your address next to it. Next, the poll worker will give you an access code and direct you to an open voting booth.

The eSlate voting system that we have become accustomed to using for Early Voting over the last couple of years will be fitted with a Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail printe. The printer allows voters the opportunity to verify that their votes on the eSlate are what are recorded on the paper record. The paper in the printer is not a receipt. You cannot take it with you. The paper record is part of the official record of votes cast.

Early Voting will be offered at 10 locations around Orange County from October 20th to October 29th for the November 7, 2006 General Election. Click here to see a full list of Early Voting locations.
